Project Natal from Xbox 360
And you thought Nintendo Wii was on to something. Its like this. Facebook was the top social networking site until Twitter came along and took the basic element THE STATUS UPDATES and made it the main focus. Same thing here. XBOX took THE USER MOTION as the controller in instead of both controller and motion. There are always pros and cons, like for the Project Natal, what if someone accidentally got too close and kicked the tv screen in? Or did a roundhouse and kicked their little brother or sister. The concept is well received. Its also an exercise too. Jumping up and down using your entire body......that sucks for the people downstairs. Madden 2012 How many players ? Lets wait and see.

Michigan Boutiques for Haiti will launch simultaneously at Burn Rubber, Revive, Motivation, and Premier. For more info click one of the 4 links.

BAPE T-Shirts !! Spring/Summer 10'
Nigo is a genius in my eyes. He is very creative. His designs on his shirts are so simple, crisp and just right. The colors are very POP art influenced. I like this brand even though I have yet to own a Bape article of clothing. Who knows I might buy him out one day. (And I said it with a straight face). A Bathing Ape is a Japanese Clothing company that has created a cult-like following similar to brands like Johnny Cupcakes, Apple, etc. The line is very premium and limited. You wont see mirror matches around town in these unless its either a BAPE convention or some guy is selling them out of a white van on the busiest intersection in your hood. In that case you already know what you're getting as well as not getting.

A Dramatic End- Passing of Ron Banks
Many people my associate The Dramatics with Motown but in fact they were with Stax Records. Ron Banks was the leader of the group who were originally The Dynamics. According to The Detroit News Ron Banks died of what may have been a heart attack at age 58. The Dramatics have always been one of my favorite R&B/Soul groups of all time. Ask my mother what happened to her tapes, yes tapes, and then lets move on to CDs. Thats how long I've been a fan since tapes. (Not old enough for 8-tracks)
"In The Rain", "Just Shopping" are some of my favorites
So many Dramatic hits have been sampled by various artists
Here is one that I sampled too. "Ocean of Thoughts And Dreams" Producer 9th Wonder also sampled this and made the Destiny's Child hit "Girl"
Thanks for the memories Ron !!! Rest In Paradise !!!

Eggplants Dont Taste Like Eggs
So its going down this weekend. Last year these dropped and people copped heavy. I guess they copped so much that they dropped the Coppers and decided to double back and drop the Eggplants again. Sneakers are my thing. Cant stay away. Its always good to have inspiration and it can come from the most unusual places. Just think...birds inspired airplanes, sharks and other fish inspired boats, and certain animals inspired cars. In this case the color of this highly sought after piece of art also known as a sneaker was inspired by a vegetable that I dont recall ever tasting. So here is what I will do. If I get a pair of these I promise to buy an eggplant and eat it. I will post pics or a video to confirm. Always eggspect the un eggspected ! PTBS !!!

Cereal Killers 2
Ok so my little sister just reminded me of something else. Pro Grain Cereal!!! OMG !! Shayna you got me on this one. Our grandfather bought this in response to all the cereal that was previously posted. Even though he mixed Chex with Pac-Man at 12:00 in the morning Drunk !!!
Cereal Killers
My big sister and I always have these discussions about things that no longer exist but should. There were so many good products in our opinion that did not last. Why? Had I known that this delicious cereal would no longer exist, I would have told my Granny to buy the entire stock. Freakies For Life !!.....Maybe it was the name...hmmmmm...the last time I had these was around the mid-80s. Ralston was the bomb when it came to cereal. Its funny because they were Ralston-Purina the same company that produced dog food. Man why ? This hurts just knowing that I ate at least one box of each and now its just memories. I hope it wasnt because they made dog food and somehow used the same utensils to produce the cereal and got cited and shut down. Oh well I guess I have to find something new...............................................................to be continued.

The Power of Shawn Carter
You can find so many songs that are offsprings of bars/lines spit by Jay-Z. I know other rappers get sampled too. Im a sampler myself but I wanted to break down Mr. Influentials word play that has generated enough songs to make at least an EP. Just to make things fair Jay himself used present and past Foes (Nas and Mobb Deep) on his first album Reasonable Doubt (Dead Presidents and D-Evils). But Jay-Z has several. Here's a few. My guy Ro Spit is about to be next. Im already chopping em' up. LOL! "Yeah I sampled ya voice you was using it wrong/you made it a hot line/ I made it a hot song"~Jay-Z-Takeover-Blueprint
1. Bring Em' Out~T.I. (2004)
No need for a video you already know the song.
2. Im a Hustla~Cassidy (2005)
3. 80s Baby~Ro Spit (2009)
4. All Black Everything~Soulja Boy (2010)
5. Red Bottoms~Ghost Wridah (2010)
So what happened to Mitchell & Ness jerseys ? "I dont wear jerseys I'm 30 plus/give me a crisp pair of jeans ni88a button up"~What more Can I Say

Askew One-Detroit 2009
I found this as I checked out the good folks on the west coast at GC. What caught my attention was that its about Detroit. I left Detroit to go to school but I dont plan to move back for a while. Detroit is a very unique city. Detroiters have a certain way about them that you cant find anywhere else, its an attitude, its the lingo(my opinion). When you hear "What Up Doe ?" think Detroit. We have our moments of embarrassment, i.e. Kwame-gate, So Cold In The D, this alleged chick infecting over 500 people with AIDS, Forbes most dangerous city nominations being ranked consecutively among the Top 10 of the worst, etc.
But we also have contributions to music in which I need not utter the name that rings bells around the world which is also a record label. We have arts, fashion, Coney Island restaurants, and so much more. This was an example of art. Shout out to the NY artists too.
