In no particular order. I had to revisit parts of my childhood and up. To be honest Air Jordans are the reason that most people even became Sneakerheads.I got my 1st pair in 89' the black IVs.It was around easter and it was hot and sunny in Detroit. I had on a turquoise polo shirt and some stonewashed jeans. I was one of the freshest kids on Julian St. My only 2 sisters at the time had the white ones and my friend on the next half of the block had the white ones too. We were the few that had them in our school. What a feeling! I need to get another pair to celebrate the 21yr anniversary.
Im chilling in The Cassel on my second can of liquid courage. So as a blogger I must do just that BLOG and hope YOU enjoy the stuff I find for your enjoyment.(She threw up in Autotune-Classic !)
I know Im late on the Valentine sentiments, But I just got wind by W.O.M. Thats Word of Mouth.! I might order some and freeze for my 2011 V-Day fling from Beijing. Mai Ling. LMAO !!
Kinda blurry but it's my sister's business card. If you live in the Detroit, Royal Oak or surrounding areas make a reservation !!!! Facials, massages, and waxing.
There was a point in time when Vince Carter was my favorite basketball player. 2003 when he played for Toronto. Now he plays for the city I reside by, Orlando. I might have to catch a Magic game one day. I wouldn't mind seeing this happen at the Amway Arena.
Bill Hudson Show Reel from Bill Hudson 3D Artist on Vimeo. Its good to know people in high places before they even get there. Bill is definitely one of the most humblest and talented persons that I know in Florida. He is currently working on his 4th degree. Master of Fine Arts which I believe is his second Masters. When all you artists and filmakers stop bullshitting with the budgets, holla at Bill. Oh, Bill I still need to get a placement on the Demo. Yew know it!.
Im a big fan of parody I like the way Verizon pulled out the old school Big Red theme and freaked it to fit them. Watch the original first then peep the new ad.
The very talented Detroit native JV a.k.a Jason Vaughn has recorded an album with artist Darren J featuring Gee Fuller. What up doe?! Its always good to see talented artists, musicians and engineers making things happen for Detroit. Click below to download for FREE!
This is from one of the homies from Michigan. Since I relocated to Florida I seek out Michiganders like a shark smelling blood. Not to mention this was my neighbor too. Cooperachy is a versatile writer good at both rap and R&B. You need a hook holla @Cooperachy you can also find him on Wayne Gretzky . Not to mention he keeps the 32oz.s on deck(please drink responsibly must be 21 & up, buckle up-its the law). :-)
The homie DJ Cassius Cain is slightly hung over from last nights Wayne Gretzky mixtape release. We had a 32oz. Beer Bash. The selection was Colt 45,Mickey's and the 8 Bizzle Olde English 800. So he gets online and say check this video out. So I say ok and there it is under the brew-skis. Hmm its only saturday. I wonder what's next. Oh yeah the pic is reversed LOL! Well on to the video "I Need A Yogi".
I will always be a fashion connoisseur wether its sneakers, fitteds, jeans, or t-shirts. T-shirts are the quintessential fashion staple. They are simple and easy to manage. You dont have to button them up. Shid you dont have to iron them if you dont want. This company pushed the limits to outer space. -by Imaginary Foundation
Toronto a.k.a T-Dot Getting it in.There is an on going "State of Mind" phenomenon thanks to The Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z + Alicia Keys. This one made me laugh a bit but the footage is cool. You decide.
This is one of my good fellas back in Michigan, Ro Spit. For those that dont know, he is co-owner of one of my brand heroes Burn Rubber. This song has been heralded by many as the official Detroit anthem. Jay-z and Alicia Keys' Empire State of Mind inspired.
Wiz Khalifa just did a show with Ro Spit + Curen$y at my alma mater Wayne State University in Detroit. I first heard about Wiz in 2005. The guy is definitely putting in some work. Check the video
You ever wonder how much integrity heros have compared to villains? What if Batman was the bad guy and the Joker was the good guy? Well people have a certain side of them that they try to mask, some dont. The artists who created these works of art decided to show the negative sides of Nintendo's video game icons The Mario Bros.
Well since I live in Florida now I can see myself rocking this. 305 Canes inspired design.
I like the creativity of this one too. The gun themes are sick. No I do not condone violence unless its the very last possible option in order to preserve humanity(self-defense). The shirt is definitely cop worthy.
Marv Won from the Wayne Fontes Mixtape. Detroit HIP-HOP getting it in. For more Michigan Hip-Hop get at Michigan Hip-Hop.com Peep the Burn Rubber fam Ro and Rick. Peep the District 81 t-shirts!! Ron Dance. What up doe?
This was fun. I decided to make a video displaying some creative stuff sonically and visually. I rarely showcase beats but I decided to put a few on it.
I went on Bob's Classic Kicks website and saw this. This is clever. Hmm. IF I had to choose I coast I got to chose the ................MidWest LOL! I'll cop both.
You never know who's who. The six degrees of separation theory is true. Thursday night I decided to put on a classic movie. Im a movie guy, especially old school late '70s-early'90s. My friend has never seen The Warriors. So we watch it. There is a gang known as The Gramercy Riffs. The baddest Mo-Fos in the Bronx. After Cyrus was killed The Riffs held a meeting. The new leader walks up in a black sparkling robe or jacket. Shades. Mean as hell. And Im like thats a bad MF'er! His name is Edward Sewer he played "Masai". Well come to find out his sister and I attend the same school. Her name is Elizabeth June !
RIP Edward Sewer-"Masai"
This is my sister, niece, and my anthem for 08' summer. My niece sang this song as if she wrote it.
Ok I got it first. Fresh out the "Murder" Mitten. DJ Cassius Cain, M3 Publishing. His debut mixtape!! Click the link above to download. Video coming soon from MoCash Ent.! Follow these talented folks on twitter !!!
In case you wondered what happened to your package, this guy had it under his arms the whole time!!! I already know this concept is going to get jacked, jocked, bitten, bootlegged, cloned, keymaker classic'd(inside joke circa 2003 in New York, ask me and I'll tell ya about it) Or maybe someone else came up with it. Regardless it has inspired me already for my brand Paul The BeatSmith !
I have a background in marketing and advertising as far as my degree goes. I have always been the one for creativity and BMW murdered it. These are real cars!! Actual size!

This was once a comfortable view for me. This was when I had great credit, money, and even a job. So what happened?............... Passion overode complacency. I decided to go back to school. But doing so I had to sacrifice something. Off goes the Charger w/HEMI. Once the lease was up. Thats it no more renewals. Not to mention I couldn't work my first year of Recording Arts.
Ironically this photo was taken while I was in Detroit outside my apartment coming from Burn Rubber™. I decided to take a picture of the ground with my iPhone (Oh I had to sacrifice that too). Now this is my view again when my head is not above clouds. Its a wonderful sight for a sneaker head though. Its just a minor set-back.
Had I bitched up and decided not to enter I would not have been $500 richer. I was so nervous and intimidated by all the other contestants. Especially my first round because I had to go up against a great by the name C89 from Detroit. Ross Lara is a genius, honestly it was two different genres going for the title. Ross from Sektr 24 has a very pop/trance/techno style. The majority was hip-hop. JV was dope too. There were many others too. But the lesson learned is that YOU have to BELIEVE in YOU! Once people see that, they will too.
I consider myself more creative than most. Less creative than least. I like to do things the same as you but somehow it comes out different. Everything and Nothing is what I do. Its the extreme of both. I could have said Something but Everything and Nothing sounds better. Its like a commitment thing that I need to master. Either Im doing everything in my power to succeed or Im doing nothing. I can rely on Something even though its the "happy medium" as some say. But I need a major push. So lets give it a shot. This is my first official blog posting. Once I get used to it, you will remember who Paul The BeatSmith™ is and what he's doing and where he's going. Right now Im logging into Facebook™ to waste time playing Mafia Wars™. Then I'll tweet something on Twitter™. So follow me @paulthebeatsmth. Request me on Facebook™.
Im currently working on a Masters degree in Entertainment Business. On my spare time I make beats, I design logos. I like sneakers. I give creative advice for a $mall fee.
My brand Paul The BeatSmith will launch innovative designs in t-shirts and other fashion in the up and coming future. Stay connected.
